The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the notification for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) July 2024. Candidates interested in applying for Paper I (Primary Level) and Paper II (Junior Level) can submit their applications online between 07 March 2024 and 05 April 2024. • For Single Paper:

Eligibility Criteria:

CTET Primary Level (Class I to V):

Candidates must have one of the following qualifications:

• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) OR equivalent.
• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) as per NCTE guidelines.
• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

CTET Junior Level (Class VI to VIII):

Candidates must have one of the following qualifications:

• Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed).
• Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
• Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), as per NCTE guidelines.
• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
• Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of B.Ed. (Special Education).
• Post-Graduation with a minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade and passed or appearing in the final year of a three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.
