Eligibility for Posts:

• Sub Inspector (SI) Master: 10+2 from a recognized board with a Second-Class Master Certificate in Water Transport Authority or Mercantile Marine Department.
• Sub Inspector (SI) Engine Driver: 10+2 from a recognized board with a First-Class Master Certificate in Water Transport Authority or Mercantile Marine Department.
• Head Constable (HC) Master: Class 10th with a Serang Certificate.
• Head Constable (HC) Engine Driver: Class 10th with a 2nd Class Engine Driver Certificate.
• Head Constable (HC) Workshop: Class 10th with ITI Diploma in relevant trades.
• Constable Crew: Class 10th with 1-year experience in operating boats below 265 HP, and swimming in deep water.
• Assistant Commandant (Water Wing): Bachelor's degree in Marine, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Automobile Engineering.
