NTA UGC NET June 2024 Exam City Details

The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the UGC NET June 2024 examination, originally scheduled for June 18, 2024, but rescheduled to August 21–September 4, 2024, due to concerns about exam integrity. The exam, held in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode across 83 subjects, aimed to determine eligibility for Assistant Professor, Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), and Ph.D. admissions in Indian universities. The exam city intimation slips were released starting August 14, 2024, on ugcnet.nta.ac.in, allowing candidates to check their allocated exam city using their application number and date of birth. The exam was conducted in over 200 cities across India, with efforts to assign centers based on candidates’ preferences, though administrative constraints sometimes led to nearby city allocations.
