Steps to Check India Post GDS January 2nd Merit List 2025

Visit the Official GDS Recruitment Website
Go to the India Post GDS portal: https://indiapostgdsonline.gov.in -
Click on “Shortlisted Candidates” Section
On the homepage, locate the tab or link labeled “Shortlisted Candidates” and click on it to view all available merit lists. -
Choose Your Postal Circle
Select the State or Postal Circle you had applied for. Each circle will have its own merit list in PDF format. -
Open and Download the Merit List PDF
Click on the respective circle’s link to open the PDF file of the 2nd merit list. This file contains the list of candidates selected for document verification. -
Search for Your Details
Use the Ctrl + F function to quickly search your registration number or name in the merit list. -
Save or Print for Reference
Once confirmed, download or print the merit list for use during the verification process.
What Comes After the Merit List?
Candidates whose names appear in the second merit list will be contacted by the respective postal authorities for document verification. It is essential to keep all original certificates ready, including educational qualification, identity proof, caste certificate (if applicable), and other relevant documents. Final selection is confirmed only after successful document scrutiny.
