The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) will announce the Class 12th (Higher Secondary) results for the 2024-25 academic year on May 7, 2025, at 12:30 PM through a press conference at Vidyasagar Bhavan, Kolkata. Students who appeared for the exams, conducted from March 3 to March 18, 2025, across various streams (Arts, Science, Commerce), can access their results online starting at 2:00 PM on official websites like wbresults.nic.in and wbchse.wb.gov.in. Over 7.5 lakh candidates participated in the exams, which followed a semester-based system introduced this academic year. Results can also be checked via SMS or the official WBCHSE mobile app, requiring roll number and date of birth. Original marksheets and certificates will be available from schools or designated distribution centers starting May 8, 2025. Students dissatisfied with their scores can apply for revaluation or scrutiny through their schools, with details to be released post-result. Compartment exams for those needing to improve scores are tentatively scheduled for August/September 2025.
