NTA UGC NET June 2025 Phase I Answer Key

The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the UGC NET June 2025 examination for various subjects across India. This exam is a national-level eligibility test for Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) posts in Indian universities and colleges.

With the completion of the exam, the NTA is set to release the UGC NET June 2025 answer key, allowing candidates to check their responses, calculate probable scores, and raise objections if needed. This is an essential step in maintaining fairness and transparency in the evaluation process.

What Is the UGC NET June 2025 Answer Key?

The answer key is an official document containing the correct responses to the questions asked in the UGC NET exam. It helps candidates:

  • Verify their marked answers

  • Calculate estimated scores before results are announced

  • Raise objections in case of discrepancies

  • Gain confidence in the fairness of the selection process

Initially, NTA releases a provisional answer key, followed by a final answer key after reviewing candidate objections.

How to Calculate Your UGC NET Score

Here’s how to estimate your score using the official marking scheme:

  • Each correct answer carries 2 marks

  • There is no negative marking for incorrect responses

  • Total marks = Number of correct answers × 2

Add your correct responses to get an approximate total score. This gives you a fair idea of your performance and whether you may qualify for JRF or Assistant Professor eligibility.

  4. Select the question ID you want to challenge

  5. Upload supporting documents or references as proof

  6. Pay the required fee per question (refundable if your objection is correct)

  7. Submit before the deadline specified by NTA

After reviewing all valid objections, the NTA will publish the final answer key, which will be used to compile the result.

Why the Answer Key Matters

The UGC NET answer key ensures:

  • Transparency in the result calculation

  • A fair opportunity for candidates to report errors

  • An early understanding of where you stand in the competition

  • Trust in the examination and evaluation system

Once the final key is published:

  • Results will be prepared and uploaded on the official site

  • Cutoff marks for each subject will be released
