The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has officially opened the online application process for the 9th phase of the Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET) 2025. Aspiring candidates for the post of Nursing Officer (Staff Nurse Grade-II) in central government hospitals and institutes under AIIMS can now apply online.

B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing from an institution recognized by the Indian Nursing Council or State Nursing Council.

OR

Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) with at least 2 years of work experience in a hospital with a minimum of 50 beds.

📚 Exam Pattern for NORCET 9 (2025)

The NORCET 2025 examination will be held in CBT (Computer-Based Test) mode. The pattern is expected as follows:

  • Total Questions: 200 MCQs

  • Duration: 3 hours (180 minutes)

  • Marks per Question: 1 mark

  • Negative Marking: 0.25 for each wrong answer

  • Sections:

    • 80% Core Nursing Subjects (Medical-Surgical, Fundamentals, Pediatric, Psychiatric, etc.)
