Why the Reserve List is Important for IBPS SO Aspirants
Due to various reasons such as non-reporting, resignation, or rejection during document verification, some candidates from the original merit list do not join. These vacancies are then offered to candidates in the reserve list, ensuring efficient use of available seats and giving deserving candidates a fair chance.
For many aspirants who narrowly missed the main allotment despite clearing all stages, this reserve list acts as a second opportunity to start their banking career in a specialized role.
