Eligibility Criteria for AFCAT 01/2026 Batch

Flying Branch

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any stream with Physics and Mathematics at the 10+2 level
    OR

  • B.E./B.Tech degree from a recognized university

Ground Duty Technical Branch

Aeronautical Engineering (Electronics):

  • 10+2 with 60% marks in Physics and Mathematics

  • Four-year Graduation or Integrated Postgraduate Degree in Engineering or Technology

Aeronautical Engineering (Mechanical):

  • 10+2 with 60% marks in Physics and Mathematics

  • Four-year Engineering Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Aeronautical, or related fields

Ground Duty Non-Technical Branch

Administration & Logistics:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with at least 60% marks

  • Height Requirement:

    • Men: 157.5 cm

    • Women: 152 cm

Accounts:

  • B.Com degree with a minimum of 60% marks

  • Height Requirement remains the same

Education:

  • Master’s Degree such as MBA, MCA, MA, or M.Sc. with at least 50% marks

  • Height Requirement as per branch rules

Meteorology Entry

  • Master’s Degree in any recognized discipline

NCC Special Entry (Flying Branch)

  • NCC Air Wing Senior Division “C” Certificate

  • Must meet Flying Branch eligibility norms
