Important Dates

The revised exam dates are 08–09 January 2026 and 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 09 & 10 February 2026.

Application Fee
Candidates from General and OBC categories paid an application fee of ₹500.
Candidates from SC, ST, EBC, Female, and Transgender categories paid ₹250.
After appearing in the CBT exam, ₹400 is refunded to General/OBC candidates, while ₹250 is fully refunded to reserved category candidates.
The fee was accepted through Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, IMPS, and Mobile Wallets.
Age Limit (As on 01 July 2025)
The minimum age required is 18 years, and the maximum age limit is 36 years.
Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per RRB Group D recruitment rules.

A total of 32,438 vacancies have been announced for RRB Group D Level-1 posts.
These include positions such as Pointsman, Track Maintainer, Assistant (C&W), Assistant TRD, Assistant Loco Shed, Assistant Operations, and other technical and workshop roles across railway zones.

Candidates must have passed Class 10 (High School) from a recognized board approved by NCVT or SCVT, or must hold a National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) issued by NCVT.

The Computer Based Test includes questions from General Science, Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning, and General Awareness & Current Affairs.
