AFCAT 01/2026 Eligibility Criteria

Ground Duty (Technical) Eligibility
For Aeronautical Engineering (Electronics), candidates must have secured at least 60% marks in Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level and hold a 4-year engineering or integrated postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline.
For Aeronautical Engineering (Mechanical), candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics (60% marks) and possess a 4-year degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Aeronautical Engineering.
Ground Duty (Non-Technical) Eligibility
For Administration and Logistics, candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in any stream with minimum 60% marks.
Minimum height requirement is 157.5 cm for males and 152 cm for females.
For Accounts Branch, candidates must have a B.Com degree with at least 60% marks, along with the same physical standards as Administration branch.
For Education Branch, candidates must hold MBA, MCA, MA, or M.Sc. degree with minimum 50% marks.
Meteorology Entry Eligibility
Candidates must have a Master’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
NCC Special Entry – Flying Branch
Candidates must possess an NCC Air Wing Senior Division ‘C’ Certificate and meet Flying Branch educational and physical standards.
