Vacancy Details

PGCIL is hiring apprentices in various trades for different regions. The total number of vacancies and post details will be mentioned in the official notification. The categories of apprenticeships include:

1. Graduate Apprentices (for Engineering disciplines)
2. Technician (Diploma) Apprentices (for Diploma holders)
3. Trade Apprentices (for ITI candidates in various trades)

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 27 years (age relaxation as per government rules for SC/ST/OBC candidates)

Educational Qualification:

1. Graduate Apprentice:

   • Engineering Degree (B.E./B.Tech) in the relevant discipline from a recognized university.
   • Minimum of 60% marks in aggregate (55% for SC/ST/PWD candidates).

2. Technician (Diploma) Apprentice:

   • Diploma in Engineering in the relevant discipline from a recognized institution.
   • Minimum of 60% marks in aggregate (55% for SC/ST/PWD candidates).

3. Trade Apprentice:

   • ITI in relevant trade (NCVT/SCVT recognized).
   • Candidates should have passed the ITI exam from a recognized institute.

Selection Procedure

The selection of candidates will be based on the following criteria:

1. Shortlisting: Candidates will be shortlisted based on their educational qualifications (percentage marks) and experience.
2. Merit List: A final merit list will be prepared considering the academic marks of the candidates.
3. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will undergo document verification to confirm their eligibility.
4. Training: Selected candidates will be called for apprenticeship training at the designated locations.

Stipend/Pay Scale

• Graduate Apprentices: As per PGCIL norms.
• Diploma Apprentices: As per PGCIL norms.
• Trade Apprentices: As per PGCIL norms.

The stipend will be paid according to the company’s policies for apprentices and as per the respective apprentice regulations.

3. Fill in the Application Form: Complete the application form with your personal and educational details.

Application Fee

• General/OBC: Rs. 200 (may vary based on the notification)
• SC/ST/PWD: Nil (No application fee)
