The Defence Research & Development Organization (DRDO) has released the notification for the CEPTAM 10 Entry Test 2022 for the recruitment of 1901 posts in various Group B and Group C categories. The positions are for Senior Technical Assistant-B (STA-B) and Technician-A (TECH-A).

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

• Senior Technical Assistant-B (STA-B):
  • Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant subject (like Engineering/Technology) or a diploma in the relevant field.
  • Specific qualification details vary based on the post (Check the official notification for exact qualifications for each post).
• Technician-A (TECH-A):
  • Candidates must have completed 10th class or equivalent with an ITI certification in the relevant trade.
  • Specific trade qualifications will be provided in the notification.

Age Limit:

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 28 years
• Age Relaxation: As per DRDO rules for reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/PWD).

Selection Process:

1. Tier 1 (Preliminary Test):
   • The Tier 1 exam will consist of multiple-choice questions based on General Awareness, Reasoning Ability, General Intelligence, and Technical Subjects (related to the post applied for).
2. Tier 2 (Mains Test):
   • Shortlisted candidates from Tier 1 will be called for a Mains Test.
   • The Mains Test will focus more on subject-specific knowledge and may include practical assessments, depending on the post.
3. Skill Test:
   • For the Technician-A (TECH-A) posts, a Skill Test may be conducted to assess practical knowledge.
4. Final Merit List:
   • The final selection will be based on the combined performance in Tier 1, Tier 2, and the Skill Test (if applicable).

Application Process:

2. Register: Create a new account if you are a first-time applicant.
3. Fill the Application Form: Complete the online application form by filling in personal details, educational qualifications, and the posts you are applying for.
4. Upload Documents: Upload scanned copies of your photograph, signature, and other required documents as per the instructions.
5. Pay the Application Fee:
   • General/OBC: ₹100
   • SC/ST/PWD/Female Candidates: Exempt from payment.
   • Payment can be made online via debit/credit card or other available methods.
6. Submit the Application: After filling in all the details and making the payment, submit the form and take a printout of the confirmation page for future reference.

Admit Card / Hall Ticket:

• The admit cards will be released for the eligible candidates once the application process is completed. You can download your admit card by logging into your account on the official DRDO website.

• Senior Technical Assistant-B (STA-B): Pay Level 6 (₹35,400 - ₹1,12,400)
• Technician-A (TECH-A): Pay Level 2 (₹19,900 - ₹63,200)
