The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), Intelligence Bureau (IB) has released the recruitment notification for the posts of Security Assistant (SA)/Executive and Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) in 2022. A total of 1671 vacancies are available for various positions under this recruitment.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Educational Qualification:

   • Security Assistant (SA)/Executive:
     • Candidates should have completed Matriculation (10th) or equivalent from a recognized board.
     • Should be able to read, write and speak the local language of the concerned State/Union Territory.
   • Multi Tasking Staff (MTS):
     • Candidates must have passed 10th class or equivalent from a recognized board.

2. Age Limit:

   • Minimum Age: 18 years
   • Maximum Age: 25 years (as of the last date of application)
   • Age Relaxation:
     • SC/ST: 5 years
     • OBC: 3 years
     • Ex-Servicemen: As per Government of India rules

3. Language Proficiency:

   • For Security Assistant (SA): Candidates should have knowledge of the local language of the region they are applying for.

Selection Process:

The selection process for both Security Assistant and MTS will consist of the following stages:

1. Written Examination:

   • Security Assistant (SA): The exam will consist of two parts:
     • Part I: Objective-type questions on General Knowledge, Numerical Aptitude, Reasoning, and English.
     • Part II: Descriptive test focusing on the local language.
   • Multi Tasking Staff (MTS): The exam will consist of objective-type questions on General Awareness, English Language, Numerical Aptitude, and Reasoning.

2. Skill Test (For Security Assistant):

   • The candidates who qualify the written exam will be called for a local language test and further stages as per the post.

3. Interview: Candidates for Security Assistant (SA) may be called for an interview after passing the written and skill test.

4. Final Merit List: A merit list will be prepared based on the performance in the written exam, skill test (if applicable), and interview.

Pay Scale:

• Security Assistant (SA)/Executive:
  • Pay Level 3: ₹21,700 – ₹69,100 (as per 7th Pay Commission)
• Multi Tasking Staff (MTS):
  • Pay Level 1: ₹18,000 – ₹56,900 (as per 7th Pay Commission)

• General/OBC/EWS: ₹50 (for each post)
• SC/ST/Female/Ex-Servicemen: No fee
