YIL Ordnance Factory Apprentice Online Form 2023

Yantra India Limited (YIL), formerly known as Ordnance Factory, has issued a notification for the engagement of Various ITI / Non-ITI Trade Apprentices in 2023. The recruitment is for candidates who are interested in applying for apprenticeships in various trades.

Important Dates:

  • Start Date for Online Application: 1st March 2023
  • Last Date for Online Application: 14th April 2023

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:
  • For ITI Candidates:
    • Candidates should have completed Matriculation (10th) and hold an ITI Certificate in the relevant trade from a recognized institution.
  • For Non-ITI Candidates:
    • Candidates should have completed Matriculation (10th) with a minimum percentage (as mentioned in the official notification).
Age Limit:
  • Minimum Age: 15 years
  • Maximum Age: 24 years
  • Age relaxation is provided for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates as per government rules.

Selection Process:

  1. Written Examination: Candidates may have to appear for a written examination which will assess their knowledge in general aptitude and technical subjects.
  2. Merit-Based Selection: Selection will be based on the marks obtained in the Matriculation (10th) examination for Non-ITI candidates, and ITI candidates will be selected based on their trade score.
  3. Document Verification: All the candidates selected through the merit list will be called for document verification.
  4. Medical Examination: Candidates may undergo a medical examination to ensure fitness for the apprenticeship.

Pay Scale:

  • The pay scale for the selected apprentices will be as per the government norms for apprentices.
    • For ITI Apprentices: Apprentices will receive stipends based on their trade and level of experience.
    • For Non-ITI Apprentices: The stipend for non-ITI apprentices may be slightly lower compared to ITI apprentices, but it will be in line with industry standards.

How to Apply:

  1. Visit the Official Website: Go to the official Yantra India Limited (YIL) website.
  2. Register/Login: If you are a new user, register by providing the necessary details. If you already have an account, log in using your credentials.
  3. Fill the Application Form: Complete the application form with personal, educational, and trade-related details.
  4. Upload Documents: Upload scanned copies of required documents such as:
    • 10th mark sheet
    • ITI certificate (if applicable)
    • Passport-size photograph
    • Signature
  5. Pay the Application Fee: If applicable, pay the application fee as per the notification guidelines.
  6. Submit Application: After completing all sections, submit your application.
  7. Download the Application: Download and take a printout of the application form for future reference.
