Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) CEN 01/2026 11,127 Candidates must have passed Class 10th (Matric) with ITI certificate from NCVT/SCVT in relevant trades such as Fitter, Electrician, Instrument Mechanic, Electronics Mechanic, Mechanic Motor Vehicle, Wireman, Diesel Mechanic, Turner, Machinist, Refrigeration & AC and other approved trades. OR Candidates should possess a Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Automobile Engineering. OR Candidates having a BE/B.Tech degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Automobile Engineering are also eligible.

Railway RRB ALP 2026 Selection Process

The selection process generally includes:

  1. CBT Stage-I Examination
  2. CBT Stage-II Examination
  3. Computer-Based Aptitude Test (CBAT)
  4. Document Verification (DV)
  5. Medical Examination
