UTET 2026 Eligibility
Primary Level (Class I to V)
Candidates must satisfy any one of the following eligibility conditions:
- Code 01: 10+2 with at least 50% marks and passed/appearing in final year of 2-year D.El.Ed./BTC.
- Code 02: 10+2 with at least 45% marks and passed/appearing in final year of 2-year D.El.Ed. as per NCTE Regulations.
- Code 03: 10+2 with at least 50% marks and passed/appearing in final year of 4-year B.El.Ed.
- Code 04: 10+2 with at least 50% marks and passed/appearing in final year of Diploma in Special Education.
- Code 05: Graduation with passed/appearing in final year of D.El.Ed./BTC.
- Code 06: Shiksha Mitra candidates with IGNOU D.El.Ed.
In-service teachers for Classes I to V are also eligible.
Junior Level (Class VI to VIII)
Candidates must satisfy any one of the following eligibility conditions:
- Graduation with D.El.Ed./BTC.
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and B.Ed./L.T./Shiksha Shastri.
- Graduation with at least 45% marks and B.Ed. as per NCTE norms.
- 10+2 with at least 50% marks and 4-year B.El.Ed.
- 10+2 with at least 50% marks and 4-year B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed.
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. (Special Education).
