Educational Qualification
Intermediate Trained Assistant Teacher (Class 1–5)
Candidates must possess any one of the following qualifications:
- 10+2 with at least 50% marks and 2-year D.El.Ed.
- 10+2 with 45% marks and 2-year D.El.Ed. (NCTE 2002 Norms)
- 10+2 with 50% marks and 4-year B.El.Ed.
- 10+2 with 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Special Education.
- Graduation with 2-year D.El.Ed.
Additionally, candidates must have qualified JTET (Class 1–5). Jharkhand residents with CTET or neighboring state TET qualification may also apply, subject to passing JTET within the prescribed period.
Graduate Trained Assistant Teacher (Class 6–8)

- Graduation/Post Graduation with 50% marks and B.Ed.

- 10+2 with 50% marks and 4-year B.El.Ed./B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed.
- Graduation with 50% marks and B.Ed. (Special Education)
- Post Graduation with 55% marks and 3-year Integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.
