Relaxation may be considered in genuine cases, such as medical emergencies or participation in recognised national or international events, subject to CBSE rules and submission of valid supporting documents.

For subjects involving practical examinations, students should meet the prescribed passing requirements for theory and practical components separately, wherever applicable.

Students should verify their selected subjects and details with their school. Changes after LOC submission are generally restricted and can be made only according to CBSE rules.

5. Compartment and Second Board Examination

Students who do not qualify in the main examination should follow the applicable CBSE second examination or compartment provisions for the 2027 session.

The separate schedule and eligibility conditions for such examinations should be checked through official CBSE notifications. Students should not rely on dates announced for an earlier academic session.
