GATE 2017 Syllabus

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has invited applications for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2017. This test is for candidates aspiring to pursue postgraduate engineering programs or seek employment in public sector companies. The exam is held annually, and candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can apply through the official portal.   • Exam Date: 4-5 & 11-12 February 2017

Application Fee:

  • General / OBC Candidates: ₹1500/-
  • SC / ST / PH Candidates: ₹750/-
  • All Category Female Candidates: ₹750/-
  • Payment Mode: Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, E-Challan

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidates must have passed or be appearing in any of the following programs:
    • B.E / B.Tech / B.Pharm
    • B.Arch
    • B.Sc. Research / B.S.
    • M.Sc. / MA / MCA
    • M.E. / M.Tech
    • Dual Degree / Integrated Courses

Photo and Document Instructions:

  • Photo: Passport size color photo with a white background (must be taken after 01/09/2016).
  • Thumb Impression: Left thumb impression inside a rectangular box (3 cm x 5 cm) on A4 size paper.
  • Signature: Sign within a rectangular box (2 cm x 7 cm) on A4 size paper using a black or blue pen in running handwriting.
