Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) Recruitment 2019 for TGT, PGT, PRT

Important Dates:

• The online application for the recruitment began on 24th August 2018 and closed on 23rd September 2018.
• The last date for online correction was 1st October 2018.
• The last date to pay the exam fee was 23rd September 2018.
• The exam dates for the Principal / Vice Principal were held on 3rd November 2018.
• The exam dates for TGT, PGT, PRT were from 22nd to 23rd December 2018.
• Admit cards were available in December 2018.
• Interviews for Principal / Vice Principal took place from 29th November to 14th December 2018.

Application Fee:

• For Principal Post: General/OBC candidates had to pay ₹1500, while SC/ST/PH candidates were exempted.
• For TGT/PGT/PRT Post: General/OBC candidates had to pay ₹1000, and SC/ST/PH candidates were exempted.
• The fee could be paid via Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or E Challan.

• Total Vacancies: 8339 posts across various categories.

• The recruitment includes positions for Post Graduate Teachers (PGT), Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT), Primary Teachers (PRT), Vice Principal, Principal, and Librarian.

  • Post Graduate Teacher (PGT): 277 General, 172 OBC, 95 SC, and 48 ST candidates were needed.
