UPSC Civil Services IAS Pre Admit Card 2024

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducted the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination 2024 to fill 1,056 vacancies across central government services, including IAS, IPS, and IFS, with 40 seats reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disability. Initially scheduled for May 26, 2024, the exam was postponed to June 16, 2024, due to the Lok Sabha elections. The admit cards for the preliminary exam were released on June 7, 2024, on the official websites upsc.gov.in and upsconline.nic.in. Candidates could download their e-admit cards using their registration ID or roll number and date of birth. The exam was held in two shifts: General Studies (GS) Paper I from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM and Civil Services Aptitude Test (CSAT) Paper II from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM.

Steps to Download UPSC CSE Prelims 2024 Admit Card:

  • Visit upsc.gov.in or upsconline.nic.in and click “e-Admit Card: Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination 2024” under the “What’s New” or “Examinations” section.

  • Select either “Registration ID” or “Roll Number” as the login option.

  • Enter your Registration ID or Roll Number, date of birth, and the captcha code.

  • Click “Submit” to display the admit card, which includes your name, roll number, exam center, date, timings, and instructions.

  • Verify details (e.g., name, photo, center); contact UPSC at 011-23385271 or us.csm-upsc@nic.in if discrepancies are found.

  • Download and print the admit card on A4 paper (color or black-and-white) and carry it with a government-issued photo ID (e.g., Aadhaar, voter ID) and two passport-size photos to the exam center.
