The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has officially opened the online application process for Scrutiny and Compartmental exams for Class 10th and 12th students who appeared in the 2025 board examinations. Students who are not satisfied with their marks or those who failed to clear one or more subjects can now apply online to either re-evaluate their answer sheets (Scrutiny) or reappear through the Compartmental exam.

Originally, the last date to apply for the Class 12th Compartmental Exam was set for 12th April 2025, but due to student demand and administrative considerations, the deadline has been extended to 15th April 2025. For Class 10th Compartmental Exam, the application window now remains open until 16th April 2025.

Steps to Apply for Scrutiny or Compartmental Exams:

1. Visit the Official Website: Go to the official Bihar Board website to begin the process.

2. Select Your Exam (10th or 12th): Choose your respective board exam—either Class 10th or 12th—to apply for scrutiny or compartment exams.

3. Fill the Application Form: Enter all required details such as roll number, subjects, and personal information. Ensure that you provide accurate data as mistakes could delay the process.

4. Upload Necessary Documents: Attach scanned copies of relevant documents, such as your admit card, mark sheet, and any other documents requested.

5. Payment of Fees: Pay the applicable scrutiny or compartment exam fee online using available payment methods (credit/debit card, net banking, etc.).

6. Submit the Form: After completing all sections, review your application and submit it before the last date.

7. Take a Printout: After submitting the form, take a printout of the confirmation receipt for future reference.
