  • IAS : Bachelor Degree in Any Stream in Any Recognized University in India
  • IFS : Bachelor Degree as one of Subject Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology, Agriculture or Equivalent

How to Apply for UPSC Civil Services (IAS) & Indian Forest Services (IFS) Examination 2019:

  1. Visit the UPSC Official Website:
    Go to the official UPSC website (www.upsc.gov.in) to begin the application process.

  2. Select the Notification:
    Find the UPSC Civil Services 2019 or IFS 2019 notification and read the detailed advertisement carefully.

  3. Fill in the Application Form:

    • Provide your personal details, educational qualifications, and other required information.
    • Upload scanned copies of your photograph and signature as per the specifications mentioned in the notification.

  4. Pay the Application Fee:

    • Choose your preferred payment method (Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or E Challan).
    • Pay the applicable fee (if applicable for General/OBC candidates).

  5. Submit the Application:

    • Once the payment is done, submit the online application form.
    • Take a printout of the application confirmation page for future reference.

  6. Download Admit Card:

    • The admit card for the Preliminary Exam will be available for download from 30/04/2019.
    • After the Pre Exam Results (12/07/2019), those who are qualified can fill the DAF (Detailed Application Form) for Mains.

  7. Mains Exam:

    • Those who qualify the Prelims will appear for the Mains Examination starting from 20/09/2019.
    • Keep track of the dates for Mains and further stages of the selection process.

  8. Final Result & Reserve List:

    • After the completion of all stages, the final result will be announced on 04/08/2020 and the IAS Reserve List will be available by 04/01/2021.
