SBI Bank PO 2025 Pre Exam Date

The State Bank of India (SBI) has officially announced the Preliminary Exam Dates for SBI PO 2025. The exam will be held on 02, 04, and 05 August 2025 across multiple centers in India. For lakhs of aspiring candidates, this announcement marks a major milestone in their journey toward one of the most prestigious positions in the banking sector.

When Will the Admit Card Be Released?

The SBI PO Prelims Admit Card 2025 is expected to be released in the last week of July 2025, approximately 7–10 days before the exam. Candidates must download it from the official SBI career portal once the link becomes active.

Without the admit card, no candidate will be allowed to enter the examination center. It’s your official identity proof for the exam.

    Candidates must have completed a Bachelor’s degree in any stream (such as Arts, Science, Commerce, Engineering, etc.) from a recognized university or institution in India.

  • Final Year Candidates:
    Students in their final year of graduation can apply, but they must provide proof of degree completion during the interview stage.

Here is how you can download your admit card smoothly:

Step 1: Visit the Official SBI Careers Website

Go to the official portal – https://sbi.co.in → Click on “Careers”.

Step 2: Click on the “SBI PO 2025 Admit Card” Link

Under the “Latest Announcements”, find and click on the link titled “Download SBI PO Prelims Admit Card 2025”.

Step 3: Enter Login Details

Use your Registration Number and Date of Birth or Password to log in.

Step 4: View and Download

Your admit card will appear on the screen. Check your name, exam date, reporting time, and exam center.

Step 5: Save and Print

Download the PDF and take 2–3 printouts. Keep one for exam day and the rest as backup.

Exam Pattern for SBI PO 2025 Prelims

Here’s a quick breakdown of the Prelims exam structure:

  • English Language – 30 Questions – 20 minutes

  • Quantitative Aptitude – 35 Questions – 20 minutes

  • Reasoning Ability – 35 Questions – 20 minutes

  • Total: 100 Questions, 100 Marks, 60 Minutes

The exam is conducted in English and Hindi (except the English section). There is negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer.

With just a few days left, candidates should focus on:

1. Practice Mock Tests Daily

Attempt full-length mock tests to get used to the online exam pattern and manage time better.

2. Analyze Weak Areas

What Happens After the Prelims?

Candidates who clear the Prelims will be shortlisted for the SBI PO Mains 2025, tentatively scheduled for September or October 2025. The Mains will be followed by a Group Exercise and Personal Interview.

Only those who qualify all stages will be included in the final merit list and receive the appointment letter.
