Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

• Candidates must have passed the 10th class examination with 50% marks (aggregate) from a recognized Board.
• Candidates must also possess an ITI certificate in the relevant trade from a recognized Industrial Training Institute (ITI).

Age Limit:

• Minimum Age: 15 years
• Maximum Age: 24 years (as of 01 October 2023)
• Age relaxation will be provided as per government rules for candidates from reserved categories.

Selection Procedure:

1. Merit List:

   • The selection will be based on the merit list prepared for each trade.
   • The merit list will be based on the marks obtained in the 10th class examination and the ITI marks.

2. Document Verification:

   • Candidates shortlisted based on the merit list will be called for document verification.
   • Verification of educational certificates, age proof, and other required documents will be done.

3. Medical Examination:

   • Candidates must be declared medically fit as per the medical standards of the Indian Railways.

Pay Scale:

• The selected apprentices will receive a stipend during the training period. The stipend will be as per the guidelines of the Indian Railways.
• The stipend is generally between Rs. 5,000 and Rs. 7,000 per month, depending on the level of apprenticeship and the trade.
