Army Dental Corps Online Form 2022

The Indian Army has released the notification for the recruitment of Short Service Commissioned (SSC) Officers in the Army Dental Corps (AD Corps) for both Male and Female candidates. This recruitment is open to candidates who have qualified in the NEET MDS Exam 2022. The recruitment will be carried out for the posts of Dental Surgeon under the Short Service Commission.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • NEET MDS 2022 Qualification: Candidates must have qualified in the NEET MDS 2022 examination.
  • BDS Degree: Candidates must possess a BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) degree from a recognized university or institute.

Age Limit

  • Minimum Age: 18 years
  • Maximum Age: 45 years as of 31st December 2022. (Age relaxation may apply as per government rules for reserved categories.)

Nationality

  • Candidates must be Indian citizens.

Physical Fitness Standards

Candidates will need to meet the medical standards set by the Indian Army to be considered for recruitment. These standards include:

  • Height: Minimum 157.5 cm for men and 152 cm for women.
  • Weight: Proportional to height and age.
  • Vision: 6/6 in one eye and 6/9 in the other (with or without correction).

Selection Process

The selection process for the Army Dental Corps recruitment includes the following steps:

  1. Written Examination (NEET MDS 2022 Score):

    • Candidates will be shortlisted based on their performance in the NEET MDS 2022 exam.
  2. Interview:

    • Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview or personality test. This will assess the candidate's suitability for service in the Army Dental Corps.
