Vacancy Details:

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

  • Generalist:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university or institution with a minimum of 60% marks (or equivalent grade).
  • Specialist:

    • Candidates must have a Postgraduate Degree/ Engineering Degree in the respective field (e.g., Agriculture, Finance, Economics, or Engineering) with specified qualifications for each specialization.

  • Minimum Age: 21 years
  • Maximum Age: 30 years
    • Age relaxation is provided for candidates belonging to reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/PWD) as per government norms.

Selection Procedure:

The selection process for NABARD Grade A recruitment consists of the following stages:

  1. Preliminary Examination:

    • This is an online exam consisting of objective-type questions.
    • It typically covers sections such as Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, English Language, General Awareness, and Professional Knowledge.
  2. Main Examination:

    • The main exam will consist of Descriptive Type Questions and Objective Type Questions.
    • For Generalist Posts: It includes questions on Economic and Social Issues, English Language, and Quantitative Aptitude along with Descriptive Papers.
    • For Specialist Posts: The exam will cover topics related to the specific field of specialization.
  3. Interview:

    • Candidates who qualify the main exam will be called for a personal interview where their professional knowledge, aptitude, and suitability for the role will be assessed.
  4. Final Selection:

    • The final selection will be based on the performance in the Main Exam and Interview.
    • The final merit list will take both the main exam and interview scores into consideration.

Syllabus:

The syllabus for the NABARD Grade A recruitment exam typically includes the following sections:

  1. Preliminary Exam:

    • Reasoning Ability
    • Quantitative Aptitude
    • English Language
    • General Awareness (focused on banking, economics, and current affairs)
    • Professional Knowledge (related to the role you have applied for)

Pay Scale and Benefits:

  • Basic Pay: As per NABARD norms, the initial basic pay for an Assistant Manager in Grade A will be around ₹44,500.
  • Other Allowances: Candidates are eligible for allowances like Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Medical Allowance, and Special Allowance in addition to the basic pay.
